WHAT ARE COMMISSIONS?
As planning consultants, we’re here to assist you will all aspects of your planning application, appeal, objection or enforcement case. This includes working out what documents, drawings, reports or other products you need in order to:
- meet minimum national and local requirements. If you don’t manage this, your application or appeal could be turned away
- give you the best possible chances of success*.
*We will always be upfront about what documents are essential and what documents are merely advisable so that you can make informed decisions about how to spend your money.
In some cases, you may require a specialist document, drawing or other product that we don’t currently produce in house.
Where this is the case, we have established relationships with a variety of reputable firms located throughout the UK and we are able to commission a wide range of high-quality planning products on our clients’ behalf. In some circumstances, we can offer a more competitive price than if you went directly to the provider. Click the button below to find out more about some of our key local partnerships.
HOW DO COMMISSIONS WORK?
If you require a product that we don’t currently produce in house, we will always discuss the requirement with you. If you wish to, you can go and source the product yourself from a provider of your own choosing.
Please be aware, however, that we will not accept responsibility if you source the wrong product or its quality is lacking.
If you’d rather leave the hard work to us, we can commission the product on your behalf. You will always be sent a formal quote and your written agreement to its terms will be required before we proceed with the commission.
We work alongside a variety of partners who we have carefully selected because they consistently provide high-quality and cost-effective products. You can find out more about some of our key partners using the button above. After many years of working together, we have great confidence in the products they offer and know they will be accepted by local planning authorities and the planning inspectorate.
If you require a product that one of our existing partners does not offer, we’ll aim to get you quotes from at least two reputable providers so that you have a choice.
When we receive your report or product, we’ll make sure it’s up to standard and request any necessary changes on your behalf.
